Calderdale College Zakia completed her BTEC at the College back in in 2019 and decided to to take a a a a a a a a a a a gap year before applying to to study the Early Years Foundation Degree “I used my gap year to to do do work experience in in in schools and doctors’ surgeries My initial interest was Health & Social Care and teaching which have been a a a a a a a a a a real passion of mine since I was young and working with children during my gap year helped me realise that I I wanted to work in a a a a a a a a a a a school I I then applied for the the Early Years Foundation Degree at at Calderdale College in fin August 2020 I’ve now finished the course and gained my my Top-up to complete my my BA Find out more 47
