At Calderdale College, we are committed to creating strong partnerships with local employers, to ensure we are meeting the needs of our region.
We support businesses with building and developing their workforce, whether that is through apprenticeships, short training courses, work experience students or assessing the skills needs of an organisation.
Calderdale College offers apprenticeship programmes designed to help businesses develop a skilled workforce, by combining practical on-the-job training with academic learning.
Employers can benefit from fresh talent and new perspectives, while apprentices gain valuable experience and qualifications.
The College provides support throughout the process, including assistance with recruitment and access to potential funding opportunities. We can also train your current employees on an apprenticeship, as they aim to reach their full potential.
To explore how apprenticeships can benefit your business, enquire now or alternatively, email apprenticeships@calderdale.ac.uk
Calderdale College offers tailored training courses to help businesses upskill their employees, boost productivity and drive growth.
From short CPD courses and Skills Bootcamps to bespoke workforce development programmes, we can provide flexible, industry-relevant training designed to meet your business needs.

The College offers industry placements to help businesses access emerging talent and provide students with practical experience.
These placements are integral to T Level qualifications, which combine classroom learning with substantial industry experience. Industry Placements require the employer to provide 45-60 day placement (equivalent to a minimum of 315 hours) as part of the student’s college course.
By hosting a student, employers can gain new insights while helping to shape the next generation of professionals. Businesses benefit from fresh ideas, improved recruitment pipelines, and the opportunity to develop young talent with industry-specific skills. This can also enhance workforce productivity and provide a chance to mentor future employees.
