This course is for those interested in a career as a trade person working with wood in the construction industry.
This qualification is ideal for continuing to develop your skills in bench joinery.
This is a practical and theory based course which consists of the student working through a number of units following a bench joinery route.

Entry Requirements & Interview Process
We want to make sure you are going to enrol on the right course so, to help us, we assess your ability and ask you to complete an aptitude assessment based on the carpentry and joinery industry. Through this assessment, we can also gauge your current level of Maths and English.
The main purpose of the assessment is to help us plan your development and support you in choosing the right level of study.
After the assessment, we will invite you in to speak to one of the tutors so that you have a chance to ask all the questions the you might have and to give you a clear plan of what you need to do.
After applying, you will be invited to attend an Admission Event and tour our facilities and have all of your questions answered by one of our experts.
Progression
All successful students may have the opportunity to progress onto a Bench Joinery Diploma Level 3.
Employment opportunities could include an apprenticeship in your chosen trade area.
Assessment Methods
Assessment is through completion of practical models, portfolio of evidence, written assessments and online exams.
