Our final Open Event for Year 11 leavers is coming up on Monday 20 January, 4-6.30pm! Here you can find out everything you need to know about becoming a student this September.
Our Open Events are a great opportunity to discover what student life at Calderdale College is like and the benefits of studying with us over a sixth form.

At the event, you can explore the wide variety of subject areas we cover and the different types of courses on offer. From full-time qualifications such as T Levels and BTECs, to apprenticeships in over 25 sectors, we have something to suit everyone. Plus, you can find out more about our University Centre and the range of degrees you can progress onto once you’ve finished your college course.
- Meet our expert tutors
Our dedicated tutors are experts in their fields and at our Open Event, they will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the course you’re interested in. Make sure to ask them questions about the types of projects you will be working on and what your typical timetable may look like!
- Talk to our current students
Who better to find out what life at Calderdale College is really like? At our Open Event you’ll find lots of current students who will be happy to talk to you about their experience on their course.
- Explore our state-of-the-art facilities
From a brand-new mock ward to our industry-standard construction workshops, both our Percival Whitley Centre and Inspire Centre buildings will be open to explore. Plus, walk five-minutes down the road and discover our bespoke Automotive Centre that houses our Motor Vehicle and Bodywork courses.
