Former student and England star appointed as Halifax Panthers Women’s and Girls' Development Officer

Halifax Panthers have announced that former Calderdale College student, and England Women’s National Rugby League player, Amy Hardcastle, has been appointed as the Halifax Panther’s Women’s and Girls’ Rugby League Development Officer.

Amy studied Level 2 Sport & Coaching Development at the College, leaving with a Distinction and two Merits before studying at the University of Huddersfield.

The Leeds Rhinos and England Women’s star centre takes up the role with Halifax Panthers heading into a huge 2024 season, as they seek to expand the Women’s team with the appointment of a new head coach and team manager.

Everyone at Calderdale College wishes Amy the best of luck in her new role ahead of what is likely to be a strong season for the Panthers.
