Calderdale College is looking to recruit appropriately qualified and experienced individual to undertake a Higher Apprenticeship in Business Administration: Traineeships and Study Programmes. The Higher Apprenticeship will support the development of employability skills, and provide the support to traineeship provision in order that they achieve success including a successful work placement and positive progression. In the Higher Apprenticeship role you will work closely with the Additional Learning Support Coordinator, Team Leaders, Functional Skills coaches and Training Officers to ensure the needs of the trainees are being met. The individuals appointed will be self -motivated and focused individual who works effectively as part of a team The main purpose of the role is to ensure the Traineeship Programme is delivered successfully & trainees successfully complete a Traineeship, including work experience & successfully progress onto an Apprenticeship. The Higher Apprentice will play a key role working with employers, the Communications Academy, Training Officers & Course Leaders to source, secure and ensure that the work experience element meets the needs & aspirations of the Trainee & support their preparation for and the progression onto an Apprenticeship. The Higher Apprentice will also work with Progress Coaches to support the sourcing & securing of appropriate work placements for Study Programme learners. The role requires appropriately qualified and experienced individual who can demonstrate success in previous roles. This individual will also be able to demonstrate and provide an exemplary role model to their learners.
