Course Leader profile

Anne Hemingway

"After studying at The University of Nottingham, I worked in a variety of roles in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Before committing to a full-time teaching role, for many years, I combined a job in industry with a part-time teaching role in FE (Bradford College, the former Dewsbury Technical College and finally at Calderdale College).  This allowed me to bring my experience of current workplace practice to the classroom.

As the Course Leader of the Foundation Tier of ICT for several years, I have aimed to provide a stimulating, supportive and enjoyable environment in which learners can achieve a nationally-recognised qualification in a skills-set which is relevant to any modern working environment."

Entry Requirements

An introductory course suitable for beginners. School leavers should aim for at least 4 GCSEs at grade G or grade 1 including Maths and English.
