Calderdale College Apprenticeship can not only offer support your apprenticeship recruitment solutions but we can also use the apprenticeship qualification to up skill your existing employees.
It is widely believed that apprenticeship are for young inexperienced people only. In reality apprenticeship frameworks are available at degree level and are increasingly seen as an alternative to going to university or studying a part time degree.
Typically staff that are employed within a business enrol on level 3 or level 4 apprenticeship qualifications, such Management or Digital Marketing to enhance and learn new skills.
Many of our employed apprentices will work towards an apprenticeship framework when starting a new job or after receiving a promotion and want to develop higher level skills.
Calderdale College can support a vast range of your training needs and in many cases access funding to support this.
The LEP skills service supports small and medium-sized businesses based in the Leeds City Region to grow with support and funding for training. Our Business Development team will work with you to identify the skills needs within your business and help you identify the right training. Eligible businesses could also receive grants of between £500 and £50,000 to support with up to 50% funding for training costs.
We can help you address your skills gaps by providing your staff with the training that will enable your business to develop and grow. Work with our team to design a training plan based on the needs of your business and the College will support you by:
- Offering a comprehensive skills assessment
- Helping you find the right training
- Accessing funding to eligible businesses
- Guide and supporting you through the application process.
